My Current Favorites
Helllooooo and welcome back to another blog post. I feel as if I haven't really shared much with you guys lately. But then again, a lot has been going on around me. Those are stories for another time. But let's just say... A lot is changing (mostly exciting things). I don't want to give away too much, unless you already follow me on social media, but I do want to share with you guys all of my current favorites.
If you're new to my blog, this is something I like to do every once in awhile. The idea came from basically all of my YouTubers. I always liked it because it was a way to try new products, listen to new music, or just overall try something new. Sometimes those favorites end up being some of my personal favorite products. So, maybe this will be beneficial to you or maybe you're just here to support my content. Either way, let's get into it!
Starting off the list of my favorite products is Cerave Products. Okay, if you've done some digging in my blog you'll know I've talked about skin care products in a lot of my blog posts. But I think I've found the holy grail of my skin care favorites. I call it the Cerave Trio. I use every morning their Hydrating Facial Cleanser. Hands down my favorite cleanser I have ever used. I've been using this for roughly two months and my skin is soft and it's clear. After I wash my face with the cleanser, I moisturize in the morning with their AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion with Sunscreen. This moisturizer is a gift from the skin care god's. Am I being dramatic? Maybe so, but this is hands down the best morning moisturizer in the world. First and foremost, it's super important to add sunscreen to your skin care routine every day. I learned this from Tik Tok of all places. This product is my favorite out of the entire trio and I don't go a morning without using it. Run don't walk to snag yourself a bottle. Lastly, I end my night with their PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion. I use this after my showers in the evening to keep my skin hydrated. Highly highly recommend this trio. The next two product I want to try from them is their eye repair cream and the hydrating hyaluronic acid serum.
Next on my favorites list is Caramel Premier Protein Shakes but with a twist, adding iced coffee in to still get my daily intake of coffee. I don't have these every day because the shakes do get a little pricy but on weeks I buy a pack, I have one every other day. It's a refreshing way to start my morning, plus I'm getting 30 grams of protein. That's a win in my book!
Another current favorite of mine is Olivia Rodrigo's debut album, Sour. Okay okay, I know you've seen this 18 year old blow up the internet for her music but for me it's rare to find an album where I don't skip tracks on. Each some on this album is a masterpiece and even that feels like an understatement.
Up next is the topic of reading. I've talked a lot about books on my platform as I've really gotten back into reading over the past year. Over the weekend I just finished this amazing book called A Court of Thorns and Roses. Which has officially been added to my all time favorites list. A bit of a rough summary is teen huntress Freya was out hunting for food for her family when she kills a wolf in the woods. Then a beast-like animal arrives to her cottage and demands retribution for the death of his friend. Turns out these animals aren't really animals but faeires (weird, I know but hang in there with me), Freya is taken to a magical land that she has grown up learning to hate. Quickly, she discovers that the beast who brought her here is high fae, Tamlin. He is one of the most powerful faeries who once ruled this magical world. Obviously there is a budding romance there that is has literally consumed my soul in the best way possible. The story follows the two of them and a wicked shadow that consumes the faerie lands that continues to grow each day. With that, Freya is the key to stopping it or doom her new love interest and his court forever. I could not recommend this book enough and I am so excited to get my hands on the next one in the series!!
Lastly on this random current favorite list is The Mighty Patch! My new go to for pimple treatment. This has worked 99% of the time I use them. I have only had one pimple that it didn't work on and in the months I've used it. I feel like that's a pretty good product. They're super affordable and when I purchased on Amazon, I got it within 2 days. Highly recommend!
And that wraps this up on my current favorites. A simple and short list but hey, there's always until next time!
